Design Guidelines
A few quick tips to help your artwork print exactly the way you imagined it.
File Formats
What we can work with, and what prints best.
Preferred Formats
AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG (vector files) give the sharpest results, especially for text and logos. If you have a vector version of your design, send that first.
Also Accepted
PNG and JPG work fine for photo-based designs or artwork you don't have in vector form. We'll let you know if the resolution needs improvement.
Not Sure What You Have?
Send it anyway. Our team reviews every file before printing and will reach out if anything needs adjusting or resending.
Resolution & Sizing
The difference between crisp and blurry.
300 DPI Minimum
For raster files (PNG/JPG), we need at least 300 dots per inch at your final print size. A file that looks sharp on screen can still print blurry if the resolution is too low.
Design at Actual Size
Whenever possible, build or export your file at the real dimensions you want printed — scaling a tiny image up to fill a large sticker or banner loses quality fast.
Vector Scales Freely
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG) aren't limited by resolution — they can be sized up or down with no quality loss, which is why we prefer them for logos and text-heavy designs.
Bleed & Cut Lines
Making sure nothing gets cut off by accident.
Add 0.125" Bleed
For die-cut stickers, signs, and banners, extend your background or design 1/8 inch past the edge of your artboard. This prevents thin white slivers if the cut shifts slightly.
Keep Text & Logos Inside the Safe Zone
Leave at least 1/8 inch of space between important text or logos and the edge of your design, so nothing important is at risk of being trimmed.
Not Sure How to Set This Up?
No problem — just send your artwork without bleed and let us know, and our team will handle the setup for you.
Color
Screen colors and print colors aren't always the same.
